Owners Katherine and Peter originally joined BorrowMyDoggy as borrowers to learn about dog ownership before getting a dog of their own. After spending a couple of months helping out local dogs, they got their own, George the Miniature Dachshund, and signed him up to share his puppy love and ensure he received pawsome doggy care.
George now has a few borrowers, including Katie, who can’t get her own dog due to living in a shared flat. Katie and George enjoy pawsome time together every week - “It’s so nice. I feel like I’ve made a human friend as well as a dog friend, so it’s just an added bonus.”
What’s more, Katherine and Peter have said that “BorrowMyDoggy has saved us a small fortune as doggy day care and kennels are really, really, expensive.”
