Open log fires are to be enjoyed in colder months, a perfect accompaniment to one of their tasty roast dinners. With friendly staff happy to give you info on the local area as well as ear ruffles for your pup this place is well worth a visit.
The Grill at Park Head Country Hotel
Locally sourced ingredients are used to create all of the meals here. There is a beer garden to enjoy so your pup can have a good sniff around and explore while you enjoy a nice cold drink or spot of lunch. Dogs will be treated to bowls of water and belly rubs by the friendly staff.
The Old Well Inn
Dog friendly throughout, this is a pawsome place to visit with your four legged friend where he will be given treats as well as lots of fuss and attention. Situated next to a park perfect for an afternoon dog walk as well having its own garden for pooches to explore. If you want to extend your stay in Durham you can even stay overnight here in one of their pup friendly rooms which is pretty wagtastic.
