Aside from the pawsome name - this pub prides itself on being pup friendly and will serve up ear ruffles and belly scratches to it’s four legged visitors. With pooches allowed both inside and outside in the beer garden there’s plenty of choice of places to sit and enjoy your lunch. Choose from gastro pub favourites and finish off with a lovely freshly made dessert.
The Strawbury Duck
Close to nearby reservoirs, this is a great place to head for a spot of lunch after a walk with your pup. With outside seating and a cosy pub feel inside, dogs will be provided with water bowls and treats if they’ve been particularly good. You’re likely to see at least one happy pup in residence so be prepared to want to pet all the dogs!

Welcoming two legged visitors as well as muddy pups, The Bolton Arms welcomes dogs both inside and out. Treats and water bowls are available for pooches, while human visitors can pick from a yummy menu including their legendary fish finger sandwiches, tapas and cheesy rustic chips.
