If you’re looking for a great day out in Aberdeen and don’t want to leave your dog at home, then why not check out some of these dog friendly venues.
The Long Dog Cafe
This cafe was started when Big Gav, an adorable dachshund (long dog), couldn’t find a place to relax and get warm on a cold rainy day in Aberdeen. Therefore, his owner created a cafe for him. Set in the West End of Aberdeen the cafe offers a friendly and relaxing environment for you to meet for coffee, brunch or a spot of lunch. All dogs are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a well behaved owner.
Foodstory Cafe
From morning to evening, this place serves up healthy, locally-sourced food for all dietary requirements. If you are vegetarian or vegan - this is where you should go. And of course, pups are more than welcome. It’s a short walk from the Aberdeen Harbour so why not stop off after a spot of sightseeing.
The Broadstraik Inn
Want to take a long country walk and end with some great food, then this is your spot. The Broadstraik Inn is located 20 minutes west of Aberdeen with lovely walks in the nearby woods surrounding the pub. The food is an unfussy mix of Scottish specialities and British classics. Our favourite part is that they have food and water dispensers at the ready for pets too, so everyone is catered for.
