Plym Bridge Woods
If you’re dog sitting in Plymouth and happen to be walking a dog that loves to swim, then this is the walk for you. With a lovely river running through the woods and plenty of shade, if it’s a hot day, this is an extremely pretty place to explore with your four legged friend.
Saltram Boundary Walk
With wide paths perfect for dog walking, as well as a good mix of parkland and woodland, Saltram Boundary is an ideal place to visit if you’re a dog walker in Plymouth. With gorgeous views of the estuary and Blaxton saltmarsh, the woodland flowers are the best in Spring but you can visit at any time of year.
Buckland Abbey
If you’re looking for dog walks in Plymouth with great views, then you will enjoy Buckland Abbey. There are plenty of quiet places to stop and take in the view so why not take a picnic and make an afternoon of it!
Tamar Trails
Tamar Trails is a great place for a dog walk. With over 25km of woodland trails and plenty of open space to explore, which make for a perfect spot for those endless games of fetch. Be sure to stop off at the Beech Cafe during your walk who will happily provide bowls of water for thirsty pooches as well as dog treats for especially well behaved pups.
