With over four miles of surrounding woodland paths, this is not one to miss out on when walking a dog in Falkirk. It’s the perfect place to stretch your pups legs whilst they chase all the squirrels. You can then walk along to canal and come to The Falkirk Wheel which is the world’s only rotating boat lift!
Callendar Estate
Offering lots of walking opportunities for dog walkers in Falkirk. With shorter walks for those little legged or elderly dogs, to longer and more challenging routes for those bigger and younger dogs. There really is something for everyone! The paths allow you to explore the woodland and farmland, whilst making sure you won’t get lost. Climb up the hills to see stunning views of the countryside - totally worth the climb.
Muiravonside Country Park
This country park comes highly recommended by dog owners in Falkirk as there are lots of open spaces for pups to run around, chase the ball and play with other dogs. With 170 acres of woodland and parkland, theres is lots to explore and free to access all year round. There is a cafe to stop for refreshments and to refuel, or take a picnic to enjoy whilst the pups play.
