Gunners Park to East Beach
Gunners Park is a lovely patch of greenery which leads onto the East Beach Promenade (note: your pup is only allowed on the beach from 1st October to the 30th of April). With picnic areas, lovely coastal paths to explore and refreshments available along the way this is a great place to walk a dog in Essex.
Garnetts Wood
Whether you’re borrowing a dog in Essex or are walking your own pup, Garnetts Wood is a great place to explore. With a mixture of open greenery, woodland and streams if your dog likes to swim, there is something to suit every pup.
Highwoods Country Park
If your dog is a sociable so and so, they’re likely to find a pawsome playmate at Highwoods Country Park. Popular with dog walkers, with lots of space to let your dog off the lead for those endless games of fetch. During your walk you’ll find a small shop where you’ll be able to grab a drink or some snacks with water bowls provided for thirsty pups.
River Stort
If you’re a dog sitter in Essex looking for a nice riverside stroll, then this is the walk for you. With beautiful views and places to stop en route for refreshments, this makes for a lovely dog walk, if the weather is nice why not take a picnic and make an afternoon of it.
Hylands Park
With 574 acres to explore, Hylands Park offers plenty of open space for a game of frisbee with your pup. With woodlands, grasslands, places to swim (pooches only), a cafe, as well as being host to the yearly W.H.A.M dog show, this is a great place to head if you’re a dog walker in Essex.
