Allestree Park
If you’re looking for a hilly walk with forest trails and paths, this is the walk for you. With plenty of space to let your pup off for a good run and some lovely picnic spots you can easily spend a good few hours exploring here.
Shipley Country Park
Does your pup like to swim? Shipley Country Park has a pawsome lake if your furry friend fancies a little afternoon doggy paddle. Stop off at the little coffee shop for drinks and snacks, with outside seating so you can enjoy your refreshments alongside the comfort of your pup.
Longdendale Trail
If you’re looking for a gentle dog walking spot in Derby, head to Longdendale Trail where you will be greeted with stunning views which get more and more impressive as you head up the valley. Drinks and snacks can be bought along the way, there is also places to swim along the way if your pup enjoys the water.
Stanton Stroll
Stanton is a great place for dog walks with lots of fields, woods and trails to explore. There is also a local dog friendly pub open for lunch between 12pm-2pm which provides water bowls for thirsty pups and staff are always happy to welcome a four legged visitor.
