Chester Meadows
If you’re looking for dog walks in Chester you’re in luck. Chester Meadows, a great patch of grassland and wetland, lies just next to the city and along River Dee. It’s a popular spot of wildlife lovers and dog walkers. Enjoy an afternoon relaxing by the river taking in the views of city and watching boats on regatta day - pure bliss for you and your doggy.

Who doesn’t love a good sightseeing tour? As Chester is on the River Dee, which is a key part of the city, what better way to see it. Chester Boat offers a variety of boat sightseeing cruise packages and also Bus Tours, so you’ll be able to view the city in its entirety. What’s more they welcome dogs at no extra charge, they just need to sit on the top deck (the best seats in the house if you ask us!), their buses are dog friendly too. Delamere Forest
Escape the bustle of city by heading to Delamere Forest a short train ride or car journey from the heart of Chester. Your dog is welcome to roam the forest too, and eve happy to accommodate a groups of dog walkers, just get in touch with them first. There are also a few lakes, a picnic area, shop and cafe for when you need to stop for a snack and when doggy needs a drink.
Countess of Chester Country Park
