Are you a dog walker in Bournemouth wanting to find somewhere new to explore with your furry friend? Well here are a few of our favourites:
Bournemouth Beach
What pup doesn’t love racing around on a sandy beach? Bournemouth Beach is free for dogs to run around all year round, although some parts of the beach don’t allow dogs in the summer period. There are still plenty of areas to stretch those legs and cool off with a swim in the sea. The coastal path stretches for 30 miles so you can cover as much or as little distance as you like!

Hengistbury Head
This historic headland is a lovely place to walk a dog in Bournemouth, with views of Christchurch Harbour and Bournemouth Beach after hiking up to the top. It is also home to one of the oldest natural forests in the UK and rare wildlife. The Dorset Dogs team have also teamed up with Hengistbury Head to create an interactive dog-walking trail that begins and ends at the Hiker Cafe - where you can grab some refreshments, including doggy ice cream!

Queens Park
One of the largest parks in Bournemouth, and home to Queen’s Park Golf Course, this is a great place to go for quick dog walks in Bournemouth filled with plenty of games of fetch and frisbee.

Moors Valley Country Park
Moors Valley Country Park is a great spot for an adventure with your dog. There are a number of different walking routes you can take varying in distance depending on whether you fancy a short ramble or a happy hike. There is also a handy dog walking map available highlighting the areas your dog can run free and the areas they’ll need to be on lead. And the best thing about Moors Valley Country Park has to be their self-service dog wash machine for mucky pups - no muddy paws in the car!
