If you are looking for some new dog walks in Bath, we’ve put together some of our favourites for you to explore.
Royal Victoria Park
Just a short walk from the city centre, this park has 57 acres of open space for those endless games of fetch or frisbee. There is a beautiful botanic garden and the Great Dell Aerial Walkway for breathtaking views amongst the trees, and a cafe to stop off for snacks and coffees. Both you and your pup will thoroughly enjoy walks here all year round if you are a dog walker in Bath.

The best place to see the city whilst you walk a dog in Bath. This is a National Trust 6-mile walk around the outskirts of the city. On route, you will see Sham Castle, explore woodland areas, walk through the beautiful Balcony and Rainbow Wood Fields and come across plenty of open spaces for your dog to run around.

If you are looking for a peaceful stroll with your pup, why not go for a waterside walk along the canal? There’s a two-mile circular walk where you can enjoy passing through Sydney Gardens. Don’t forget to take your camera along as there are plenty of picture opportunities of your pup alongside the canal.

This is another National Trust site with pawsome views of Bath. The gardens are set on a steep hillside and it takes around 45 minutes to stroll all the way round. Prior Park is home to one of four uniquely designed Palladium bridges in the world.

Kelston Roundhill
Kelston Roundhill is known for the clump of trees at the top of the hill, which are visible all around Bath. The Kelston Roundhill circular walk is a pupular amongst locals and you can enjoy views of both Bath and Bristol along this route. There are a number of places to start your walk, we recommend the pub or the cheese cafe for a bite to eat to fuel your adventure! There are sometimes livestock along this route so do remember to pop your pup on lead when passing through these fields.
